Duke Cybersecurity Leadership Program
Learn more about Cyber Policy at Duke
The Duke Cyber Policy Program was founded in 2019 under the leadership of Professor David Hoffman. The Program applies policies of the Sanford School, in which it was founded, to understand new government technologies and preserve fundamental civil liberties, particularly for historically underserved communities. It also focuses on the governments’ roles in cybersecurity, both in critical infrastructure and in the private sector, in order to encourage the preservation of international data flows. Duke’s approach to technology policy places a priority on encouraging student involvement in research and broader outreach that will have practical outcomes.
